Transportation Manager
Salary: $60,000-$65,000 yearly
Job Type: Full-time - Location: In-person

Position Overview:
The Transportation Manager oversees all aspects of DOT transportation operations, including CDL A and B driver supervision, regulatory compliance, equipment maintenance, and safety. This role ensures adherence to quality assurance programs, fosters leadership development, and promotes a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the transportation team, conduct performance reviews, and manage issues.
  
• Oversee DOT compliance, including driver schedules, routes, equipment, and hours of service.
  
• Execute administrative tasks (payroll, billing) and maintain accurate records.
  
• Ensure deliveries follow Standard Operating Procedures and company safety policies.
  
• Investigate accidents, damages, and transportation-related issues.
  
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficiency.Qualifications:
  
  • High School Diploma/GED (or equivalent experience).
    
  • 5+ years of transportation, logistics, or supply chain experience with CDL drivers.
    
  • Working knowledge of FMCSR/DOT regulations and OSHA rules.
    
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    
  • Proficiency with Windows-based systems and onboard computer technology.
