Job Description:
Duties * Serves as the Army Materiel Command (AMC), G-2, Deputy
Chief of Staff (G-2), Intelligence Division, CONUS Branch Chief who
is responsible for providing administrative and technical
supervision to the assigned branch personnel. * Collects, reviews,
interprets, evaluates and integrates data from all-source
multi-discipline intelligence in assessing the relevance and
significance of developing events in assigned areas. * Analyzes
intelligence information to assess developments, trends, and threat
implications. * Works with the Intelligence Community (IC) to
develop threat estimates and projections, and produces predictive
analytics focused on the assigned Area of Responsibility (AOR). *
Presents and defends the intelligence positions effectively within
the intelligence, planning, and operational communities. *
Maintains collaborative relationships and liaison with personnel in
related fields, such as those in other intelligence agencies, to
discuss production efforts, and intelligence in support of force
protection. * Serves as first line supervisor for civilian/military
employees. * Evaluates employee performance, sets performance
standards and provides employees counseling as required and
disciplinary action for employee performance. * Provides analytic
supervision and subject matter expertise to subordinates in support
threats to CONUS operations, logistics, unmanned systems, force
protection and mission assurance. * Responsible for overseeing the
implementation of new and developing intelligence policies
affecting intelligence support to operations. Requirements
Conditions of Employment * Appointment may be subject to a
suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed
background investigation. * Two year trial/probationary period may
be required. * In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol
and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must
successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior
to appointment and periodically thereafter. * Must be willing to
undergo and successfully complete a counterintelligence-scope
polygraph examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI) on a
pre-appointment and periodic basis. * Incumbent is required to
submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450,
(5CFRPart 2634, Subpart I Confidential Financial Disclosure
Reports). (See Additional Information Section) * This position is
designated KEY, meaning it cannot be vacated during war or national
emergency without seriously impairing the mission. (See Additional
Information Section) * Temporary duty (TDY) travel may be required
up to 25% of the time. * Must be able to obtain and maintain a
Top-Secret security clearance based on an SSBI with eligibility for

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including
volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your
relevant experience. Specialized Experience: One year of
specialized experience which includes two (2) or more of the
following: 1) Evaluating and/or collecting all-source intelligence
information for foreign threat assessments: 2) experience
developing management strategies to meet mission goals: 3)
experience with Intelligence collection, processing, and/or
dissemination systems: And 4) producing and/or coordinating
finished intelligence products. This definition of specialized
experience is typical of work performed at the next lower
grade/level position in the federal service (GG/GS-13).
Progressively responsible experience is that which has included
intelligence-related research, analysis, collections and /or
operations. This experience should have included intelligence
analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or
operations, counterintelligence, or threat support directly related
to the position to be filled. This experience should demonstrate:
Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle and organizations;
Knowledge of and/or ability to use research tools such as library
holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics and maps; Knowledge of
the systems, procedures and methods of analyzing, compiling,
reporting and disseminating intelligence data; and/or Knowledge of
organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing
intelligence data. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level
