Job Summary: This position is responsible for all service-related activities with OEM vendors, maintenance, repair, spare parts inventory, biomedical equipment, and physical plant repair & maintenance. Must work closely with and be responsive to Clinic and ASC operations management, IT, real estate and purchasing. Qualified candidates will have a strong technical background which may include an associate degree or military training in electronics, Mechanical or biomedical technology. Minimum Qualifications: Qualities and traits: collaborative, independent, analytical, mechanical, self-motivated, self-starter, continuously strives to stay up to date and increase their knowledge/skills. Prior experience working in a mechanical, automotive, or construction industry, or medical technical setting (preferred but not required). Manual dexterity required - ability to use common hand tools and small power equipment. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and safely move large/bulky equipment. Ability to create a safe and efficient work environment. Education and Credentials: High school diploma/GED Associate degree in electronics, industrial maintenance/ biomedical technology, or equivalent (preferred but not required) Valid Driver's License issued in the employees state of residence required. Major Duties: Maintains professionalism within all aspects of job functions and execution. Displays and maintains positive attitude and promotes same to others. Opens lines of communication within each facility, administration, and the corporate team. Displays ability to multi-task, prioritize, problem solve and handle stressful situations in a timely manner. Demonstrates Eyecare Partners mission and established goals in management performance. Demonstrates visibility and establishes productive relationships with vendors and Stake Holders.
