Job Description BAE Systems is seeking a Lead Cyclic Maintenance
Technician to join its organization.Responsibilities:
- Perform Cyclic maintenance on the Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle
(AMPV) once vehicle completes de-processing.
- Lead a team in performing required inspections after vehicle is
received into Cyclic Maintenance
- Perform preventive maintenance checks monthly, install any
repair parts received after vehicle leaves de-processing,
troubleshoot any issues which arise after vehicle is in cyclic
maintenance, road test vehicle on a regular basis, and report to
the management.
- Analyzes and evaluates products and related performance.
- Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate problem
in minimum time.
- Maintains effective customer communications and
relationsRequired Education, Experience, & Skills
- High School Diploma
- 5+ years working as a mechanic
- 5+ years supervising and leading small teams.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power
Point.
- Must have good communication skills and be able to approach
leadership with any issues dealing with the vehicle and
personnel.
- Must be able to organize and assign daily task to a small
team.
- Must be able to understand technical manuals and
drawings.Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience as a heavy equipment mechanic, military or civilian
sector.
- Experience in a leadership position in a maintenance shop.
- Automotive Degree
- ASE Certifications
- 609 CertificationPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $51390
- $82260Please note: This range is based on our market pay
structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a
variety of factors including, but not limited to: business
considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as
well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and
